FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS

Prospective clients come to us with many questions. We make sure to take the time and address any concerns before continuing on with a production. Here are some of the most common questions we get asked.

  • WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A MARKETING DEPARTMENT?
While Fierce Little Bird Productions is primarily focused on producing the quality content you need for your marketing, we also have an extensive network of professionals we can bring in to help solve your marketing needs, from Branding to Strategy and Implementation, and beyond. So, whether you're looking for a reliable production partner to supplement an existing communications department, or you're in need of a full creative team, we can help solve your marketing woes.
  • WHY DO I NEED VIDEO CONTENT?
Video content is a powerful tool for organizations to engage their audience, convey messages effectively, and enhance their brand presence. Using video in your marketing presence has been shown to increase website traffic, improve retention and subscription rates, and "generate 1200% more social shares than static texts and images..." (PowerDigitalMarketing). In addition to marketing, it can be used for training, internal communications, and more, making it a versatile medium for various purposes.
  • I'VE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE. HOW DOES THE PRODUCTION PROCESS WORK?
While our fractional services focus more on individual roles and responsibilities, a full-service video production project typically includes three overarching stages: Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production. During Pre-Production, we discuss your goals and develop a concept, craft and write the narrative, and iron out filming logistics, such as locations, scheduling, and shot lists and storyboards. Production is where the actual filming takes place. Post-production includes work like cutting, adding effects, and sound design, as well as reviews and revisions before delivering the final piece(s).
  • WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
Fierce Little Bird Productions offers both fractional and comprehensive video production solutions. This means we can offer individual services, such as editing, filming, or directing, or we can take charge and see your project through from conceptualization to final delivery. So, whether you need a single camera operator, a small production crew, or full creative ideation and production, we're able to fulfill any production needs.

  • DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

If you're a non-profit and in need of video services, please feel free to reach out, and we'll be happy to work to find solutions to fit your available budget.
  • HOW MUCH WILL MY PROJECT COST?
The costs of video production can vary depending on the project's scope, complexity, and specific requirements. Factors such as the length of the video, the number of shooting days, the need for special equipment or locations, and post-production work all influence the final cost. However, we're happy to share some average figures you can expect to factor into budget forecasts: Our fractional services all have independent costs. For example: editing starts at $800/8-hour day, and single-camera filming labor starts at $1700/10-hour day. Meanwhile, our full-service packages are tailored to fit the needs of our clients, with the packages ranging in price from $5000 to well over $100,000. Overall, it's hard to nail down the exact cost of a project without discussing the overall Scope of Work, so if you have something in mind, please reach out! We're always more than happy to discuss possibilities.
